# NoCatch VPN vs Secure Web VPN

The clearest difference is ads: NoCatch VPN at none against Secure Web VPN's shown. NoCatch VPN also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 26). Secure Web VPN's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 24%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoCatch VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 3 months and Secure Web VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for NoCatch VPN against 4.4 for Secure Web VPN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoCatch VPN has 1.3K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 24% of NoCatch VPN's written reviews are positive against 50% of Secure Web VPN's.

NoCatch VPN ships an update every 2 months, Secure Web VPN monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
