# tecla vs Tasks Pro

The clearest difference is rating: tecla at 5.0 against Tasks Pro's 4.1. tecla also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 86%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Tasks Pro's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

tecla holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tasks Pro has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of tecla's written reviews are positive against 86% of Tasks Pro's.

tecla ships an update every 3 months, Tasks Pro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
