# U vs Blaise Transit

The clearest difference is rating: U at 5.0 against Blaise Transit's 3.3. Blaise Transit's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (47% vs 38%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

U holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of U's written reviews are positive against 47% of Blaise Transit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

U ships an update every 2 months, Blaise Transit monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
