# SmartWOD Workout Generator vs FitScore

The clearest difference is rating: SmartWOD Workout Generator at 4.9 against FitScore's 4.2. SmartWOD Workout Generator also leads on ratings volume (4.8K vs 6) and device support (4 vs 2). FitScore's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmartWOD Workout Generator sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. FitScore asks for nothing beyond the download.

SmartWOD Workout Generator holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartWOD Workout Generator has 4.8K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of SmartWOD Workout Generator's written reviews are positive against 100% of FitScore's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SmartWOD Workout Generator ships an update every 2 weeks, FitScore every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
