# Hola vs ChatBeam

The clearest difference is rating: Hola at 2.8 against ChatBeam's 1.0. Hola also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). ChatBeam's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChatBeam sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Hola asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hola holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hola has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.

Hola ships an update fortnightly, ChatBeam every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
