# Climby Hammer vs Chicken Runner

The clearest difference is rating: Climby Hammer at 4.2 against Chicken Runner's 1.0. Climby Hammer also leads on ratings volume (2.3K vs 1). Chicken Runner's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 65%) and update cadence (daily vs weekly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Climby Hammer sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Chicken Runner sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Climby Hammer holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Climby Hammer has 2.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Climby Hammer's written reviews are positive against 100% of Chicken Runner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Climby Hammer ships an update weekly, Chicken Runner daily. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
