# Intrigma vs SHMLive

Intrigma and SHMLive both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of SHMLive's written reviews are positive against 37% of Intrigma's. SHMLive also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). Intrigma's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 312). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Intrigma against 4.8 for SHMLive. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Intrigma has 1.6K ratings behind it against 312, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 37% of Intrigma's written reviews are positive against 100% of SHMLive's.
