# PerGoDrive vs NY Transportation

The clearest difference is rating: NY Transportation at 5.0 against PerGoDrive's 2.7. NY Transportation also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). PerGoDrive's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 32 months) and ratings volume (15 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NY Transportation holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PerGoDrive has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PerGoDrive ships an update every 2 months, NY Transportation every 32 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
