# Focusi vs Brain Dump Journal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Brain Dump Journal at every 5 days against Focusi's every 5 weeks. Focusi's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focusi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Brain Dump Journal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focusi ships an update every 5 weeks, Brain Dump Journal every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
