# Simple Meditation Timer vs Frequency Healing Sounds Hertz

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Simple Meditation Timer at none against Frequency Healing Sounds Hertz's 3. Simple Meditation Timer also leads on review sentiment (81% vs 60%). Frequency Healing Sounds Hertz's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Frequency Healing Sounds Hertz sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Simple Meditation Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Frequency Healing Sounds Hertz holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Frequency Healing Sounds Hertz has 1.4K ratings behind it against 110, so its average is the more settled of the two.
