# Bitcoin! vs Green button

Bitcoin! and Green button both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 53% of Bitcoin!'s written reviews are positive against 36% of Green button's. Green button's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bitcoin! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Green button sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Green button holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12K and 11K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Bitcoin!'s written reviews are positive against 36% of Green button's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bitcoin! ships an update every 4 months, Green button every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
