# PRISM vs Picdance

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Picdance at none against PRISM's 9. Picdance also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). PRISM's advantage is ratings volume (6.4K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PRISM sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Picdance asks for nothing beyond the download.

Picdance holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PRISM has 6.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
