# CH7ON vs LaoTV by Unitel

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LaoTV by Unitel at none against CH7ON's 5. CH7ON's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (167 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CH7ON sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. LaoTV by Unitel asks for nothing beyond the download.

CH7ON holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CH7ON has 167 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
