# CH7ON vs GMMTV e

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GMMTV e at 67% against CH7ON's 17%. GMMTV e also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). CH7ON's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.2 vs 3.9). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CH7ON sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. GMMTV e asks for nothing beyond the download.

CH7ON holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CH7ON has 167 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of CH7ON's written reviews are positive against 67% of GMMTV e's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CH7ON ships an update every 2 days, GMMTV e every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
