# Sidepic vs Other Storage

The clearest difference is update cadence: Other Storage at every 3 days against Sidepic's every 7 months. Other Storage also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sidepic sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Other Storage sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sidepic ships an update every 7 months, Other Storage every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
