# Sidepic vs Mimfold

The clearest difference is ads: Sidepic at none against Mimfold's shown. Mimfold's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sidepic sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Mimfold sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sidepic ships an update every 7 months, Mimfold every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
