# Sidepic vs Renamely

The clearest difference is update cadence: Renamely at every 3 days against Sidepic's every 7 months. Renamely also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sidepic sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Renamely sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sidepic ships an update every 7 months, Renamely every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
