# Fast Player vs AM3U Pro

The clearest difference is price: Fast Player at Free against AM3U Pro's $0.99. Fast Player also leads on review sentiment (68% vs 44%) and ratings volume (5K vs 164). AM3U Pro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Fast Player is free to download; AM3U Pro costs $0.99 up front. Fast Player sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year. AM3U Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

AM3U Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fast Player has 5K ratings behind it against 164, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Fast Player's written reviews are positive against 44% of AM3U Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
