# GG| vs E.

The clearest difference is rating: GG| at 4.2 against E.'s 2.1. GG| also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (192 vs 7). E.'s advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GG| sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and E. sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GG| holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GG| has 192 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of GG|'s written reviews are positive against 100% of E.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
