# GG| vs Allstar.gg

The clearest difference is rating: Allstar.gg at 4.6 against GG|'s 4.1. Allstar.gg also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks). GG|'s advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 40%) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GG| sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Allstar.gg sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Allstar.gg holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 204 and 92 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of GG|'s written reviews are positive against 40% of Allstar.gg's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GG| ships an update every 6 weeks, Allstar.gg every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
