# Razer Nommo Pro vs AV Remote

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AV Remote at 59% against Razer Nommo Pro's 18%. Razer Nommo Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 23 months) and rating (3.7 vs 3.4). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Razer Nommo Pro holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 17 and 23 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Razer Nommo Pro's written reviews are positive against 59% of AV Remote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Razer Nommo Pro ships an update every 2 months, AV Remote every 23 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
