# Spot Network vs FUEL TV+

The clearest difference is monetization model: Spot Network at free with in-app purchases against FUEL TV+'s subscription. Spot Network also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 50%). FUEL TV+'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spot Network sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and FUEL TV+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FUEL TV+ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FUEL TV+ has 400 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Spot Network's written reviews are positive against 50% of FUEL TV+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spot Network ships an update monthly, FUEL TV+ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
