# FORM Swim vs RunWindow

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RunWindow at none against FORM Swim's 5. RunWindow also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). FORM Swim's advantage is ratings volume (3.5K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FORM Swim sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. RunWindow asks for nothing beyond the download.

RunWindow holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FORM Swim has 3.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FORM Swim ships an update every 2 weeks, RunWindow every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
