# Bible Study Software vs 今日福音

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: 今日福音 at 9.0 against Bible Study Software's 15.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible Study Software sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and 今日福音 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
