# NETGEAR Armor vs Anker Power

NETGEAR Armor and Anker Power both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 70% of Anker Power's written reviews are positive against 35% of NETGEAR Armor's. Anker Power also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and chart position (#200 vs unranked). NETGEAR Armor's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 1.5K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NETGEAR Armor holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NETGEAR Armor has 13K ratings behind it against 1.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of NETGEAR Armor's written reviews are positive against 70% of Anker Power's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NETGEAR Armor ships an update every 2 months, Anker Power every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
