# Derbyshire Live vs TalkingPoints

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TalkingPoints at 88% against Derbyshire Live's 29%. TalkingPoints also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). Derbyshire Live's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Derbyshire Live sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. TalkingPoints asks for nothing beyond the download.

Derbyshire Live holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Derbyshire Live has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Derbyshire Live's written reviews are positive against 88% of TalkingPoints's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Derbyshire Live ships an update every 3 weeks, TalkingPoints every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
