# MikroTik vs cnArcher

The clearest difference is ratings volume: MikroTik at 267 against cnArcher's 3. MikroTik also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). cnArcher's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 46%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MikroTik holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MikroTik has 267 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of MikroTik's written reviews are positive against 67% of cnArcher's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MikroTik ships an update every 2 months, cnArcher every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
