# MikroTik vs BitVision

The clearest difference is rating: BitVision at 4.6 against MikroTik's 3.9. BitVision also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 267). MikroTik's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (46% vs 19%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BitVision holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BitVision has 1.5K ratings behind it against 267, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of MikroTik's written reviews are positive against 19% of BitVision's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MikroTik ships an update every 2 months, BitVision monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
