# MikroTik vs CCTV Super Password

The clearest difference is ads: MikroTik at none against CCTV Super Password's shown. MikroTik also leads on ratings volume (283 vs 15) and rating (3.9 vs 3.7). CCTV Super Password's advantage is review sentiment (78% vs 46%) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MikroTik holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MikroTik has 283 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of MikroTik's written reviews are positive against 78% of CCTV Super Password's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MikroTik ships an update every 2 months, CCTV Super Password every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
