# MikroTik vs EasyLive Plus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MikroTik at none against EasyLive Plus's 4. MikroTik also leads on review sentiment (46% vs 23%) and ratings volume (281 vs 46). EasyLive Plus's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EasyLive Plus sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. MikroTik asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.9 for MikroTik against 3.8 for EasyLive Plus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MikroTik has 281 ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 46% of MikroTik's written reviews are positive against 23% of EasyLive Plus's.

MikroTik ships an update every 2 months, EasyLive Plus every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
