# MikroTik vs Radbms

The clearest difference is update cadence: Radbms at weekly against MikroTik's every 2 months. Radbms also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). MikroTik's advantage is ratings volume (267 vs 7) and review sentiment (46% vs 33%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.9 for MikroTik against 4.0 for Radbms. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MikroTik has 267 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 46% of MikroTik's written reviews are positive against 33% of Radbms's.

MikroTik ships an update every 2 months, Radbms weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
