# Baseball News vs CallupTracker

The clearest difference is ads: CallupTracker at none against Baseball News's shown. CallupTracker also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Baseball News's advantage is ratings volume (7.2K vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baseball News sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CallupTracker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CallupTracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baseball News has 7.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Baseball News ships an update every 3 months, CallupTracker every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
