# Neighbor vs Ezynest

The clearest difference is monetization model: Ezynest at free against Neighbor's free with in-app purchases. Ezynest also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). Neighbor's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ezynest holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Neighbor has 13K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Neighbor ships an update every 2 weeks, Ezynest every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
