# Neighbor vs Fly Vaunt

The clearest difference is rating: Neighbor at 4.7 against Fly Vaunt's 3.1. Neighbor also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (13K vs 212). Fly Vaunt's advantage is review sentiment (45% vs 35%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Neighbor holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Neighbor has 13K ratings behind it against 212, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Neighbor's written reviews are positive against 45% of Fly Vaunt's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Neighbor ships an update every 2 weeks, Fly Vaunt fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
