# Subscribers Counter vs Hoosit

The clearest difference is ads: Hoosit at none against Subscribers Counter's shown. Hoosit also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Subscribers Counter's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 2) and iOS requirement (15 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hoosit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Subscribers Counter has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Subscribers Counter ships an update every 3 months, Hoosit every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
