# MagicCall vs Moreplex

The clearest difference is rating: Moreplex at 4.2 against MagicCall's 3.4. Moreplex also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 14) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). MagicCall's advantage is review sentiment (81% vs 50%) and ratings volume (809 vs 5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MagicCall sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Moreplex asks for nothing beyond the download.

Moreplex holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MagicCall has 809 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of MagicCall's written reviews are positive against 50% of Moreplex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MagicCall ships an update every 2 weeks, Moreplex every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
