# Giggster vs Eventors

The clearest difference is update cadence: Giggster at every 5 weeks against Eventors's every 15 months. Giggster also leads on ratings volume (2.2K vs 7). Eventors's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Giggster against 5.0 for Eventors. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Giggster has 2.2K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 97% of Giggster's written reviews are positive against 100% of Eventors's.

Giggster ships an update every 5 weeks, Eventors every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
