# edogs vs Vet

The clearest difference is rating: edogs at 3.7 against Vet's 1.0. edogs also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Vet's advantage is review sentiment (21% vs 8%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

edogs holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of edogs's written reviews are positive against 21% of Vet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

edogs ships an update every 4 months, Vet every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
