# Alliance Net vs KO3

The clearest difference is ads: KO3 at none against Alliance Net's shown. KO3 also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Alliance Net's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Alliance Net against 5.0 for KO3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alliance Net has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Alliance Net ships an update every 6 months, KO3 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
