# LiveRun vs RunMotion

The clearest difference is rating: LiveRun at 5.0 against RunMotion's 4.7. LiveRun also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). RunMotion's advantage is ratings volume (72 vs 2) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LiveRun sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and RunMotion sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LiveRun holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RunMotion has 72 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of LiveRun's written reviews are positive against 79% of RunMotion's.

LiveRun ships an update every 3 weeks, RunMotion every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 11, 2026.
