Both are free to download. Ethereal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SkyCity asks for nothing beyond the download.

SkyCity ships an update every 4 months, Ethereal every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
