# Manus vs Brushes for Procreate

The clearest difference is price: Brushes for Procreate at Free against Manus's $1.99. Brushes for Procreate also leads on rating (4.7 vs 1.9) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 31 months). Manus's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and chart position (#116 vs unranked). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Brushes for Procreate holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brushes for Procreate has 20K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Manus's written reviews are positive against 48% of Brushes for Procreate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
