# Manus vs Tools for Procreate

The clearest difference is price: Tools for Procreate at Free against Manus's $1.99. Tools for Procreate also leads on rating (4.5 vs 1.9) and update cadence (weekly vs every 31 months). Manus's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 24%) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Tools for Procreate is free to download; Manus costs $1.99 up front. Tools for Procreate sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Manus asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tools for Procreate holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tools for Procreate has 17K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Manus's written reviews are positive against 24% of Tools for Procreate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Manus ships an update every 31 months, Tools for Procreate weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
