# 简影 vs 剪影

简影 and 剪影 both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of 简影's written reviews are positive against 55% of 剪影's. 简影 also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). 剪影's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 简影 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and 剪影 sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for 简影 against 4.8 for 剪影. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3.1K and 2.6K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of 简影's written reviews are positive against 55% of 剪影's.

简影 ships an update every 4 weeks, 剪影 every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
