# Ethiopian Airlines vs E

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Ethiopian Airlines at 22K against E's 1. E's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

E holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ethiopian Airlines has 22K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ethiopian Airlines ships an update every 5 weeks, E every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
