# FEAR US vs Echoes

The clearest difference is rating: Echoes at 4.8 against FEAR US's 2.7. Echoes also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 33%). FEAR US's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and ratings volume (28 vs 5). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FEAR US sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Echoes sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Echoes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of FEAR US's written reviews are positive against 50% of Echoes's.

FEAR US ships an update fortnightly, Echoes monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
