# OPK Country vs Alerta Pilar

The clearest difference is rating: Alerta Pilar at 4.0 against OPK Country's 2.3. Alerta Pilar also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.5). OPK Country's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Alerta Pilar holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OPK Country has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of OPK Country's written reviews are positive against 25% of Alerta Pilar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OPK Country ships an update weekly, Alerta Pilar every 21 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
