# HITS vs Inventory Manager

The clearest difference is rating: HITS at 5.0 against Inventory Manager's 4.0. HITS also leads on ratings volume (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Inventory Manager's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 64%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HITS sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Inventory Manager sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HITS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of HITS's written reviews are positive against 100% of Inventory Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HITS ships an update every 2 months, Inventory Manager monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
