# CSUB Mobile vs Amigo Play

CSUB Mobile and Amigo Play both sit at 3.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 50% of Amigo Play's written reviews are positive against 25% of CSUB Mobile's. Amigo Play also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 16 months). CSUB Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (19 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CSUB Mobile holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CSUB Mobile has 19 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of CSUB Mobile's written reviews are positive against 50% of Amigo Play's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CSUB Mobile ships an update every 16 months, Amigo Play every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
