# Drawing Pad procreate Sketch vs Random Name Picker Tools

The clearest difference is monetization model: Drawing Pad procreate Sketch at free with in-app purchases against Random Name Picker Tools's subscription. Drawing Pad procreate Sketch also leads on ratings volume (67K vs 950) and review sentiment (64% vs 43%). Random Name Picker Tools's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drawing Pad procreate Sketch sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Random Name Picker Tools sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Random Name Picker Tools holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drawing Pad procreate Sketch has 67K ratings behind it against 950, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Drawing Pad procreate Sketch's written reviews are positive against 43% of Random Name Picker Tools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Drawing Pad procreate Sketch ships an update every 2 months, Random Name Picker Tools every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
